English abstract:
The main objective of this thesis is to study the channel estimation subject in LTE (Long Term Evolution). LTE uses coherent detection and, with the purpose of obtaining information about the channel, pilot signals are used. The main axis of this study is how the reference signals according to the 3GPP standard (3th generation partnership project) are generated. In this project it is expected to understand the differences between different channel estimators using a 5G simulator developed at the Technische Universität Wien . The advantages of some pilot sequences and allocation in the signal will be studied. It is also an objective of the thesis to study the advantages from the estimator point of view in using more than one antenna in each base station with their corresponding reference signals.
