Kurzfassung englisch:
Recent development in resonant-tunneling diodes (RTDs) and THz RTD oscillators is described. Strategies and concepts to increase their operating frequencies are pointed out, different types of fundamental RTD oscillators and novel concepts of the oscillators are outlined.
