English abstract:
Direct conversion receiver systems are advantageously used in RF and microwave measurement applications due to their flexibility in the frequency selection and the wide demodulation bandwidth. Careful design of the analog baseband components is required to avoid signigicant performance degradation of the system. This work presents the design and implementation of the amplifiers used for the baseband signal conditioning. After introducing the receiver structure the specifications of the baseband amplifiers are derived. Based on these requirements the design of the amplifiers is discussed and their performance is evaluated.
