English abstract:
The universal PIN photdetector being realisable in CMOS and CiCMOS technology consists of a common cathode and finger anodes embedded in an intrinsic enviromen for fas photogenerated-charge-carrier drift. This finger-anoder struckture with rise times below 1ns and gigh responsivity in a wavelength range from 400nm to 850nm permits applications (i) as two-anode correlation sensor for optical distance measurements and integrated 3D camera and (ii) as photodiode for the optical storage systems CD-ROM as wells as red and blue laser DVD.
